The Veazy is a dry herb portable vaporizer made by the German company Storz and Bickel. It’s the newest product in their portable vaporizer lineup and offers a pocket-friendly version of the Venty at a mid-tier price. It’s not quite on par with the Venty in terms of battery life, air-flow or temp options (full on vape display) but it’s smaller, lighter, and easier to take with you on the go for shorter activities.
So far I’ve been using my Veazy most on short dog walks, or the dog park and quick sessions around the house. I have taken it out golfing a few times but it didn’t last the entire round and would have preferred to have the Venty in that situation. I also don’t think it would be the best for cold weather activities and would stick to the Venty for something like skiing, snowboarding, or other winter style activities, but I plan to test that this winter.
Other than the smaller battery life and a bit more restrictive airflow, the Veazy offers excellent vapor quality, multiple temp options via the boost modes or desktop app and comes in at a much more affordable price, $249 vs $449 (Venty). The Veazy is easy to use in single or group sessions, comes with a dosing capsule and three different color options. I imagine they will come out with some limited color runs as well. Both units (Veazy and Venty) come with a 2 year manufacturer warranty but the Ventry gets an extra year of coverage when you register the device on the Storz and Bickel website.
Overall, if you are an average user and don’t see yourself using it for more than 3-4 bowls a day, the Veazy is a great option for a portable dry herb vaporizer. But if you are a heavier user and want that extra battery life, power and airflow, I highly recommend just picking up the Venty. You can check out my Venty vaporizer review for more info and hit me up in the comments with any questions.
The Veazy retails for $249 and comes in three different colors. Check out my full Veazy vaporizer review below for more info.

3 – Normal Screens

Along with all the accessories, the Veazy also comes with the Storz and Bickel webapp that allows you to customize the three temp options that come with the Veazy. I personally just use the default temps but it might be nice to start the first temp setting a little lower depending on your preferred sessions.
The Veazy does come with one dosing capsule which allows you to pre-load a specific dosage and helps keep the chamber cleaner for longer but it does add a bit of draw resistance and more conduction heating. You can check out more info about dosing capsules in my Vaporizer Dosing Capsule Guide. If you are the neat and tidy type and like to keep things organized and/or prefer to load exact dosage amounts, I recommend picking up something like the S&B Capsule Caddy which stores 4 dosing capsules in a convenient key chain.
Last but not least you might consider picking up the Veazy case as it helps keep the smell down in while transporting and keeps everything organized for use on the go. It also protects the device via the hard shell.
Size and Portability

The Veazy isn’t necessarily the smallest dry herb vaporizer on the market but it’s still easily pocketable and easy to take with you on the go. When compared to the Venty, it’s shorter, not as bulky and not as heavy. The Veazy weighs roughly 134g (.3lbs) compared to the Venty at 252g (.55lbs) and that weight makes quite a bit of difference in your pocket. I was surprised they managed to get similar heating technology and bowl size into the Veazy and keep the overall weight down. I’m guessing this is because of the smaller battery which is why you get a massive difference in battery life and overall performance when compared to the Venty.
The exact dimensions are 5.28in tall by 2.38in wide by 1.46in deep and weighs 134g.
Build Quality and Design

The Veazy outer shell is made from medical grade plastics and not only helps to protect the unit from falls but also helps keep the unit cool while in use. The cooling unit is made from PEEK/PPSU medical grade plastic and all materials are heat resistant. Lastly the filling chamber is ceramic-coated.
Overall the design and build quality is exactly what I’ve come to expect from Storz and Bickel. Everything fits together nicely, the button is easy to press/change temps. While I’m not a huge fan of having to change temps via a webapp, it does work smoothly and at least there’s the option to customize the three temp options.
Heating and Temp Options

The Veazy is relatively simple to use when it comes to changing temps and it’s all done via one button. Powering on the Veazy will pre-heat the chamber to the first pre-set temp and you can double press the power button to increase temp to the next setting known as “boost” and once more to reach “super boost.”
During testing the Veazy heats up to temp in around 40 seconds depending on your environment, previous sessions and current battery life. This is about average for the size and battery power of the Veazy.
One thing I’ve noticed is that the Veazy struggles a bit in colder environments. It took about 15-20 seconds longer to get to temp and I would imagine it will use more battery life to maintain temps when it’s cold out. If you think you’ll be using your dry herb vaporizer out skiing or snowboarding or anything else in a Winter type environment, you might want to consider upgrading to the Venty as it has more than enough power/battery life to sustain in colder weather.
Vapor Quality

During testing I’ve found the Veazy to be very similar to other Storz and Bickel portable vaporizers with the only downside being the increased draw resistance because of the smaller cooling unit design. The Veazy uses a hybrid heating system which produces excellent vapor quality and the cooling unit does a decent job of cooling down vapor temps but there is quite a bit of draw resistance, especially when compared to the bigger, more powerful Venty.
Veazy Chamber Info

The Veazy chamber is ceramic coated and holds about .25-.3g of dry herbs. You also get one dosing capsule included with the Veazy which allows you to pre-pack a bowl with an exact dosage and also helps keep the chamber cleaner for longer. Make sure to empty out the chamber immediately after a session to help keep everything clean.
Battery & Charging Info

The Veazy uses an internal rechargeable non-replaceable lithium-ion battery and during testing I’ve found the Veazy to last about 40 minutes of continuous use which is about 3-5 bowls depending on a few different variables like environment, battery life and previous sessions.
The Veazy charges via a USB-C to USB-C cable (brick not included) and I’ve found the Veazy to charge fully in about 60-80 minutes. It does feature a built in quick charge which will charge the unit to 80% in 40 minutes. So it does a decent job of getting enough battery life to get a bowl in from a dead battery but will need some time to fully recharge.

The Veazy uses a max of 36 watts to power the unit, by comparison, the Venty is capable of using 130 watts. Roughly 3.5 times the power. This is why I recommend the Venty if you’re a heavier user or will be using it out this Winter like yours truly. I’ll be able to test it more as the weather changes and the mountain opens up but for now, it seems pretty clear there is a massive power difference between these two vaporizers. Overall the charging times and battery life are about average for the size of the device and the battery used.
Maintenance and Cleaning

Maintenance wise the Veazy doesn’t require much and can be kept clean for a long periods of time especially if you are using the dosing capsules. It’s important to clean the chamber out immediately after a session to stop debris from forming in the cooling unit, chamber and o-rings.
It does, however, take some time to fully clean the unit when you need to take apart the cooling unit. It’s not hard to do but will take roughly 10 minutes to fully clean and put back together.
Veazy Vaporizer Review Conclusion

Overall the Veazy is the perfect middle ground between the lower price point vaporizers and the higher end vaporizers like the Venty. It’s lightweight, easy to use, easily pocketable and provides enough battery life/sessions for the average vaporist.
The vapor quality is excellent and mimics the session style of other popular S&B products like the Crafty+, Mighty+ and Venty. The only downside is the draw resistance and it’s not bad compared to other vaporizers in this price range but it’s nowhere near the free-flowing draw of the Venty.
Veazy Review Breakdown:
- A smaller, lighter Venty alternative
- Mid-tier price ($249)
- Excellent vapor quality
- Less battery life & airflow than Venty
- Better for short sessions, casual use, daily walks
- Not for heavy users
I really like the new colorways and it’s a nice break from the straight black outer shell of your typical Storz and Bickel portable vaporizers and it comes with a two-year manufacturer warranty for a little extra piece of mind.
The battery life and performance doesn’t quite reach expectations for a heavy user and I recommend checking out my Venty vaporizer review if you think you’ll be using it for more than 3-5 bowls a day.
